NO 23: TRAVEL 500 MILES JUST TO SEE PENGUINS
I could walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more...
Well we didn't walk, we flew, unlike the adorable birds we were travelling to see. I confess it was a lot of money to get to Edinburgh to see the world famous penguin parade, and Colonel-in-Chief Sir Nils Olaf, the official mascot of the Norwegian Kings Guard and probably the only penguin to have been knighted.
Thanks to Tesco Clubcard entry to the zoo cost us nothing, which was a good thing because the cost of the internal flight was phenomenal compared to flying to, say, Portugal, although the cost was LESS than catching the train. Crazy times.
Anyway, it was a fantastic but exhausting day.
