...is what Legoland would definately be if you were taking children with you.

There were moments when even I was tempted to stamp my feet and cry (after spending the first two hours holding bags and coats for the rest of the family whilst they went on rides I felt a little taken for granted) so I wasn't at all surprised by the fidgety little ones who just couldn't comprehend why they had to stand in a line for over an hour to get on a ride.

Don't get me wrong, we all had a good family day out (Mini-land is a work of art) and the two of us got in absolutely free courtesy of Clubcard points, but BOY would I be angry if we'd paid £37 each. The low point had to be queueing for Laser Raiders for 90 minutes, which although good fun, went so quick I didn't actually see what the story was. The ride broke down whilst we were queueing and many people gave up waiting, allowing us to fast track to the front of the line, but being sandwiched between a 10 year old who was breaking wind, and a screaming 3 year old who was being threatened with a spanking from her step-dad didn't exactly make things any easier.

Anyway in the space of 6 hours Tim did 7 rides (one of them twice, and two of them were essentially leisurely tours of sections of the park) which means had we paid for entry it would have been over £5 per ride!

The park is clearly designed for kids under 12 so in my mind the adults should get in for half price if they bring children (for all the grief they'll get), and I'm sorry but if I'm ever a parent myself I'm not sure the kids will be going, not with me anyway!
